Newby Bridge Caravan Park FAQs

Frequently asked questions

All you need to do is ask

You'll find answers to some of the most common queries right here. However, if you can't find what you're looking for, don't hesitate to get in touch - we'd be happy to help.

  • What are your season dates?

Our self-catering accommodation will be available for holidays until 5 January 2026. We'll then be taking a winter break, with the park reopening in March.

  • Can I bring my dog?

Newby Bridge Caravan Park is dog-friendly. Please note that there is an additional charge for dogs staying in all self-catering and glamping accommodation. For short stays, the charge for dogs is £25 per dog/per stay. For stays of 7 nights or more, the charge is £40 per dog/per stay. A maximum of 2 dogs is allowed per accommodation.

While we love welcoming dogs to Newby Bridge, we also recognise the needs of guests with allergies. Therefore, we offer dog-free accommodation options. However, please be aware that where accommodation is listed as not dog-friendly, this does not guarantee that the property has not been occupied by pets in the past.

  • What time is check-in and check-out?

    Check-in is from 4pm and check-out is at 10am.

  • What are the reception opening times?

Reception is open every day from 8:30am to 5pm.

  • How much will the deposit be?

Please refer to section 6 in our Booking Terms and Conditions.

  • What is the cancellation policy?

Please refer to section 9 in our Booking Terms and Conditions.

  • I’m bringing a baby, are a travel cot and high chair provided?

Travel cots and high chairs are available to hire for £15 per item. If you require these, please add them upon booking. Subject to availability. Please be aware that a mattress and bedding for the travel cot are not included, so you will need to supply your own.

  • Are there accessible facilities?

Yes, we have an accessible caravan on park called Derwent. Please enquire for more details or see our accessibility page for details.

  • Is there a washing machine on-site?

Yes, we do! You'll find laundry facilities available for guests. A wash costs £3. Just a friendly reminder that our machines are designed to accept £1 coins, so please plan accordingly.

  • What is the phone reception like?

Signal in the park is generally very good across all phone networks.

  • Do you have Wi-Fi ?

Wi-Fi is available, but please note that due to our rural location, it is suitable for browsing and checking emails only, not for streaming. However, 4G may be available depending on your network coverage.

  • When are your changeover days ?

You can arrive on any day (except Wednesday and Sunday) and stay for a minimum of 3 nights.
