Set over one floor, Cartmel Lodge offers plenty of space for families or friends to spread out and relax after a day of Lake District exploring.
The interior is wonderfully inviting, comprising a light filled open-plan living space with a dividing wall keeping the kitchen area separate. The large sofas mean there’s plenty of relaxation time on offer when curling up with a movie or book feels like a good plan.
The lodge has two well-appointed bedrooms. The master double bedroom has an en suite shower room and a large walk-in wardrobe, where you’ll find the Jay-Be small double folding bed for additional guests (for use in the lounge). The second bedroom comprises twin beds. In the family bathroom, there’s the added benefit of a bath for those who enjoy a good soak after a day in the fells.
A key feature of this lodge is the private garden, where you can enjoy coffee in the morning sunshine and spend balmy summer nights dining alfresco.
